Pablo Cervantes
Owner/Operator
Pablo Cervantes is the owner/operator of Rento, a property management company responsible for over 200 units in Lincoln. He is also the owner of JEFE, LLC a maintenance and construction company specializing in the efficient and cost-effective remodeling of rental units and private properties. Pablo has been a real estate investor since 2008 when he purchased his first seven-plex building and began to grow his real estate portfolio. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Pablo migrated to the United States in 2001, where he worked in construction before becoming a VISTA volunteer. He worked closely with immigrants and refugees during his early career as a translator. He also served as a leadership skill developer and navigator for underserved populations in Lincoln during his career of 16 years in Lincoln Public Schools.
Pablo has volunteered with many Lincoln nonprofit organizations: He is a former President of the Board of Directors of the Center for Legal Immigration Assistance, Vice President of the Hispanic center “El Centro de las Americas” board of directors, Secretary of the Board of Directors of the South of Downtown Community Development Organization, board member for the Lincoln Public Schools’ Community Learning Centers, and Counselor for Prosper Lincoln’s job skills initiative. He is currently a member of the Bryan Medical Center Board of Trustees and Woods Charitable Fund. He received the Homeless Coalition of Lincoln’s Landlord of the Year award in 2016 and a Mayor’s Arts Award in 2006.
